David Iu practices in both criminal and civil law.
In his criminal law practice, David takes on both private defence work and instructions from the Department of Legal Aid and Department of Justice.
In respect of his civil practice, David is experienced in immigration cases, defamation disputes, land disputes, commercial disputes, and disputes in relation with discrimination, see: Chen Raymond v Lo San &2 Ors., unrep., DCEO 1&4 of 2003. Since his joining the Bar, David has acquired considerable experience in Registration of Persons Tribunal, various Magistracies, the District Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Court of Final Appeal, see: HKSAR v Chan Chi Keung, unrep., FACC 8/2011.
