Alan Ng graduated from Macquarie University, Australia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 1998, he was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia. He was then called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2001.
He is an experienced trial and appellate advocate at all levels of courts and tribunals in Hong Kong. In criminal practice, he has appeared in a number of notable cases, in particular, cases relating to commercial crime, fraud, dangerous drugs, corruption, market manipulation, assault and theft matters. In his civil practice, he has experience in dealing with commercial, contractual and land disputes cases.
He is also a Part-time Lecturer in the PCLL course, the University of Hong Kong.
